BOOKING POLICY — BLACKBOX ART STUDIO

Thank you for choosing Blackbox Art Studio. To ensure a smooth and professional booking experience for both clients and artists, the following Booking Policy applies to all tattoo appointments.

1. How to Book

You can book a tattoo session through:

  • Our website booking form

  • Instagram @blackbox.artstudio

  • Phone or in-person consultation

  • Walk-ins (subject to availability)

To secure a tattoo appointment, you must submit:

  • A valid name, email, and phone number

  • Your tattoo idea description

  • Reference image(s)

  • Placement information

  • Preferred artist (optional)

  • A non-refundable deposit

Piercings do not require appointments — walk-ins are welcome any day during studio hours.

2. Deposits

A deposit is required to schedule any tattoo appointment. All deposits are:

  • Non-refundable

  • Non-transferable

  • Applied toward your final tattoo cost

  • Required before your appointment is confirmed

3. Appointment Confirmation

Your appointment is considered confirmed only when:

  1. You submit all required information

  2. You pay the deposit

  3. You receive a confirmation message from the studio

Submitting a form alone does not guarantee an appointment until these steps are completed.

4. Arrival Time

Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out consent forms and prepare for your session.

If you are 15 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

5. Design Review

Designs are typically prepared the day of your appointment or during your consultation.

  • Minor adjustments can be made at no extra cost

  • Major changes may require a new appointment and deposit

  • If your idea changes completely, a new deposit will be required

6. Artist Preference

You may select a preferred artist when booking.

We will do our best to accommodate your choice, but availability may vary based on schedule and specialization.

In some cases, we may recommend a different artist better suited to your style.

7. Age Requirements

Tattoo clients must be:

  • 18+ years old, OR

  • 16–17 with parent/legal guardian present, both with valid ID and signed consent

Piercing age requirements vary by placement.

We may request additional documentation for minors.

8. Health & Safety

For the safety of staff and clients, please reschedule if you:

  • Are feeling sick

  • Have a skin infection

  • Are intoxicated

  • Have health issues that could interfere with the procedure

We reserve the right to refuse service if safety is a concern.
